War in IRAQ
SAY NO TO WAR!!!
March 25, 2003. Caught in the teeth of a sandstorm, troops from the 1st Marine Division rest, as their truck stops on the road north to Baghdad.
March 26, 2003. An Iraqi soldier killed in a firefight with U.S. Marines in central Iraq, north of Nasiriya.
March 31, 2003. Marines dig into their positions south of Baghdad.
April 4, 2003. Marines wait in their assault vehicle en route to the Iraqi capital.
April 4, 2003. A firefight rages a few hundred meters ahead of Marines on the front line in the push toward Baghdad.
April 9, 2003. An American Marine is offered a cigarette by an Iraqi as American forces prepared to pull down a statue of Saddam Hussein and take control of Baghdad.
