Pre-Basel 2008 Zenith ChronoMaster Watch Collection

For 2008, Zenith will introduce several new watches in their ChronoMaster collection. The Zenith ChronoMaster Tourbillon El Primero Moonphase is the most complicated, featuring a tourbillon and chronograph, in conjunction with a moonphase indicator. Presented in a 45mm case made from 18K rose or white gold, and fitted with a "Grain d'Orge" guilloched gold dial, this complicated watch will be offered in an edition of 25 pieces each for both colors of gold.

The Zenith ChronoMaster Open Grande Date expands upon the brand's well-received ChronoMaster Open watch models. Retaining the cutout dial of existing models, this watch offers a fascinating large date display that utilizes two concentrically arranged discs, which can be viewed through the dial, thanks to a transparent section on the dial; the watch also offers a chronograph function, and a power reserve indicator. Presented in either stainless steel or 18K rose gold, the Chronomaster Open Grande Date watch will be available in a 40mm "T" size, and a 45mm "XT" version.

Finally, Zenith has enriched its ChronoMaster Moon Phase watch line with two models created specifically for women. The 18K rose gold or stainless steel case is created for slender wrists, and at 37.5mm in diameter, is smaller than other ChronoMaster watches. The classically elegant mother of pearl dial retains the intricate "Grain d'Orge" guilloche pattern of the classic ChronoMaster models, while a bezel set with round brilliant diamonds adds another touch of feminine charm. The Bvlgari Bvlgari-Bvlgari Complications Complete Calendar watch takes the immensely successful and internationally celebrated design of the Bvlgari-Bvlgari watch, and adds to it the appeal of two distinctive complications---the complete calendar display, and the retrograde seconds hand. The complete calendar complication, which shows day of the week, date, and month, gained its greatest prominence through the 1940's and 1950's when numerous prestigious manufacturers incorporated it into elegant timepieces. The retrograde seconds indication shows the passing seconds with a hand that travels in an arc; each 30 seconds, as it reaches the end of its travel, it springs back to zero instantaneously to start again. This mechanism is the most immediately tangible of all retrograde complications, since it is always in motion; it also places a premium on a reliable and well-engineered mechanism that can propel the seconds hand to zero precisely time and time again.

The heart of the Bvlgari Bvlgari-Bvlgari Complications Complete Calendar watch is a 35-jewel selfwinding movement, produced exclusively for Bvlgari by the prestigious movement manufacturer Frederic Piguet. This movement has been decorated with Cotes de Geneve, perlage and anglage finishing, and can be viewed in full through the exhibition sapphire caseback. The Bvlgari Bvlgari-Bvlgari Complications Complete Calendar watch features an unmistakable elegant design, with its round 38-mm case, and broad polished bezel with the characteristic Bvlgari-Bvlgari decoration. The elegant anthracite grey dial has a satin soleil effect, and is contrasted by polished stick hour markers.

The Bvlgari Bvlgari-Bvlgari Complications Complete Calendar watch is produced exclusively in 18K white gold and is made in a highly limited series, the individual number of which is engraved on the caseback of the watch.
