CHOPARD

Chopard returned to the Oscars this year bursting with elegance and grandeur. A favorite among Hollywood actresses at the Oscars, Chopard even graced the neck of one of this year's Academy winners.

Marion Cotillard, who later Best Actress in a Lead Role for her depiction of Edith Piaf in "La Vie en Rose," showcased two Chopard necklaces on red carpet of the 80th Awards. The necklaces were worn layered, in a 1920s flapper style. The first was a champagne diamond briolette necklace (64 carats) and the second was a light brown and dark brown diamond bead necklace (106 carats) with a square cut brilliant cut yellow diamond ring (15 carats).

Leading lady of the Silver Screen, Hilary Swank was swank and swell - as usual! Marlee Matin is also known for role as "Joey" on the hit drama series "The West Wing" and will be seen on the 2008 "Dancing with the Stars Cast Six".

Chopard joined in the after-party events sponsoring the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar gala. Singer Sir Elton John and Chopard have been long time friends and collaborators with the Elton John AIDS Foundation watch. Co-president and creative director Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele wore a grand Chopard necklace and earrings set decked with 55 carats of amethysts, 96 carats of red sapphire, and 24 carats of black diamond with a purple deep V dress.
